HOMEWORK December 18, 2017 Dear Children and Parents,
Please continue to check in to kidsa-z.com as a reading supplement. It really is a great program. If you have time to check it out, the children can record their reading and we can listen and even send a message back. The program is really helping to improve reading skills. In the reading room there is a songbook section and reading and singing a song helps to build fluency. WE wish you a restful Winter Break and thank you for your continued support.

Writing food for thought: Due by Friday December 22ndth. Only a few poems fell on our desks this week. We are hoping for a big bunch this week. Writing task: We had our first snow this week. It looked like a wonderland. Can you use your words to write a little poem about a snowflakes journey to the earth? Pretend you are a snowflake. Where would you land? How would you move? Would the wind push and pull you? It does not have to be long. Just try to create a picture with your words. Just try...and have fun writing snowetry. Make it our Holiday gift: A Snow Poem for My Teacher: Priceless!
Reading: Log every night please. You can log Kidsa-z.com too!
