Dear Children and Parents,
Happy New Year! We hope you had a restful Winter break. We are so happy that many children signed on to StMath.com and Kidsa-z.com over the break. Both programs are helping the children stay on top of their Math and reading skills. We really enjoy listening to the children read along with their parents in the Kidsa-z.com recordings. Your guidance will help advance your children as readers. We appreciate and need your help as well in this regard. If you have not yet checked out Kidsa-z.com with your child, you might want to log on with your child to see all of the great features and reading genres. It is really a fabulous program and the children really love it.

Please create a math addition or subtraction story nightly and solve.  Please make sure to show your strategy.
Check out STMath.com for a few minutes if you can at night. It really is helping the children in Math.

Writing food for thought: A resolution is a solution to something you would like to work on. Many people make New Year’s resolutions. Can you think of something you would like to work on this year in school and make a resolution that can help you to improve in school?  Due: January: 8th.

Reading: Log every night please. You can log Kidsa-z.com too!
